HoopsFest is a family oriented event, therefore the rules are set to have the best experience for everyone.  Please take time to read through the rules.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What time should I be at HoopsFest?

Team check-in starts at 7:30 AM at Heritage Plaza.

The National Anthem starts at 8:45 AM followed by the โ€˜first shotโ€™ and then game play starts at 9:00 AM.

What should I bring to HoopsFest?

๐Ÿ€ For 18 and under, make sure you bring verification of date of birth (Examples: Birth certificate, medical documentation that has DOB on it, report card that has DOB on it). We accept copies. Can be a photo on your phone.

๐Ÿ€ Water and sunscreen. Our advice is to hydrate well from the middle of the on.

๐Ÿ€ Money for vendors, additional HoopsFest gear, and $500 shot contest (you can buy chances at check-in)

When am I scheduled to play?

We post divisional brackets the Friday before the tournament. They will be live within the tournament app.

What if it rains?

We are praying for no rain, but if it does, we have plans that have worked well over the years. Hereโ€™s what you need to know.

We will play in light rain. If itโ€™s heavy rain or a storm, we will call a rain delay. Depending on the amount of rain, we may reduce the points total to speed up the games.

Where are the bathrooms?

Bathrooms are in multiple locations and are noted on the HoopsFest map on this page.

Where can I get an ATM?

There is an ATM on the corner of 11th Avenue and 13th Street, noted in orange on the event map above.

Where can I watch the halftime show and championship games online?

On our Facebook page and YouTube channel (@HoopsFestBasketball) starting at 12 noon.

How can I prepare my team for HoopsFest?

We have a video series in partnership with Coach Billy Clapper that gives you strategies and tips for 3v3 basketball. Here is a link to that playlist.

Are there referees?

Yes, we hire PIAA basketball officials.

What if I get hurt?

We have a first aid team staffed with athletic trainers. Their tent is located along 12th Avenue (see map above).

In addition, every division head has the first aid contact info and can get medical personnel to you quickly should you need medical attention.

What is there to do at HoopsFest?

There is something for every age. Not only is there lots of basketball to watch, but we have a Kids Zone along 11th Avenue with lots of fun games for youngsters. See the map above for the location.

Will there be food?

11th Avenue is filled with food trucks. You can also check out the coffee shops and restaurants along 11th Avenue.

Where can I park?

We recommend parking at the Station Medical parking lots (Google maps link) and using the foot bridge to get to Heritage Plaza. Here is a photo:
